Is this the Healthiest Iced Tea Recipe in the World?
This is an iced tea recipe, although I often drink it just chilled:
- 1.5 Tablespoons Jiaogulan
- 2 Tablespoons Chrysanthemum Flowers
- 1 tablespoon Lotus Pollen
- small dessert spoon Butterfly Pea Flowers (or approx. 12 flowers)
Rinse the above twice with boiling water then fill a french press or jug with boiling water and leave to steep until cold.
- 1 dessertspoon Green Tea.
Use approx. 78-83 degrees Fahrenheit water (25 degrees Celcius) and steep for one minute or one and a half minutes. Remove tea and leave to cool.
Mix the 2 above teas together and add water. I use a 2-liter pail (jug) of water. So approx. 3/4 is just plain water. Let chill in the fridge until cold then enjoy.

If you like add a few slices of lemon which gives it a nice citrus twist. I like to do this after drinking some so that it lasts longer as I top it up with more water.
Also, repeat the above steeping processes for when you have drunk most of the original tea. This will be much weaker but will keep your jug of healthy tea alive for an extra couple of liters.
This delicious sugar-free tea is an attractive azure, turquoise water which reminds me of a paradise island beach, where you see aquamarine water over white sand. It is a perfect drink for summer, to help with a detox, plus a great excuse to ingest some very healthy ingredients.
