Avoid Blood Clotting with this Healthy Turmeric Tea Indian Style

New video with healthy tea recipe added for preventing blood clots

Turmeric and Ginger Tea to Help Avoid Blood Clots. Posted now as a preventative measure for the jab. More tips below. Will also be of use to anyone wanting to know how to stop blood clots at home without blood thinning medication. Such as after surgery. But ask your doctor to be sure. BEWARE: Turmeric only absorbs into the bloodstream a tiny amount when the powder is consumed, so it needs to be boiled for at least 10 minutes. Adding pepper and oil doesn't make a big difference to turmeric absorption, it will still be a small fraction that gets through without boiling it. Boil this tea for 8-10 minutes. Filter it or let it settle and ladle out. Add a good amount of condensed milk to taste to balance out the savory spices. Or approximately 1+ dessertspoon brown sugar or honey (ideally local raw honey). Then add lots of milk so it is like a tea latte - this is how Indian "chai" tea is drank in India - they don't include the turmeric and ginger, so we need to be a bit bolder with our version. This recipe is good for 3-4 cups and I add a tea bag for each additional cup, plus extra ingredients as needed. The taste is a little sandy because of the turmeric, but overall it is a nice sweet treat. I am drinking a few cups per day as part of my overall anti-blood clotting regimen.

Prevent Blood Clotting Tea Recipe for 3-4 Cups

  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon or large piece of ginger
  • 5 crushed cardamon pods (add more later)
  • 5 star anise
  • 8 small cloves or 5 big
  • 1 stick of cinnamon (add more later)
  • 2 bags black tea
Maybe nutmeg? Maybe a little pepper and dash of olive oil- I like it and it helps turmeric absorb.

More nutrients that may help stop blood clots

I learned that turmeric, ginger and cinnamon are probably good for avoiding blood clots from Google. I also read that sugar is bad, but I think this tea is so good that it is worth having sugar. If you like stevia that could be a much healthier alternative. Google also revealed that Vitamin E and garlic supplements are good to take to avoid blood clotting. This tea is just one of the many things you can do to keep your blood thin and flowing healthily. I also learned olive oil is good and other fats are bad for blood clots. Leg stretches are good and you can find videos on YouTube for simple muscle stretching exercises.

Exercise legs to avoid blood clots and leg position

Also, sleep with feet under a few cushions so that your feet are above your heart. Stay active and do the leg stretches if your feet get cold. They will soon warm up when you get the blood pumping. Golf is my chosen exercise outlet. If you have anymore tips let us know. I am posting this as my brother had issues with the jab and I just took mine and have a 20 hour car journey tomorrow. So I am looking for any tips. Of course, this is not medical advice. Ask a doctor for that. I am just into healthy teas and have drank this tea many times in the past as it's also great for your liver (I used to drink a lot).

This is a summery drink and when coupled with ice and lemon it become very thirst quenching. It looks great in a glass jar too, if you want to impress your guests. 😉

Lemongrass and Mint Iced Tea Recipe - a perfect iced tea

Use a touch less mint for a yummy iced tea which like always is sugar free and made with whole foods i.e. no preservatives or anything which has been processed. Like with most of my helathy tea recipes you simply add boiling water, let cool, then add to a pitcher of water. This one re-steeps well as the lemongrass and mint still have plenty more flavor. Enjoy.

Jiaogulan seems to be an anti depressant and hangover cure

Recently I have been trying cold tea infusions where I use things like green tea added to cold water and left overnight to steep. The results have been great for some teas I wasn't too happy with hot.

However, I have been feeling down recently. I couldn't put my finger on it. I just didn't feel well and wasn't motivated or happy. Then today I thought that it might be because I haven't been drinking Jiaogulan for a while, so I made a good strong recipe, see below. Which creates a tasty purple cold tea. Now I feel good again.

  • 2 dessert spoons of Jiaogulan
  • a pinch of about 5 small Ginkgo Biloba leaves
  • 10 Hibiscus flowers
  • 5 Butterfly Pea flowers (proudly from our own plant)
  • small dessert spoon of Chrysanthemum
  • a tablespoon of lemongrass mixed with Pandan leaves
I went back to my normal way of adding almost boiling water to the ingredients and emptying immediately to wash any pesticides, dust or dirt off. Then added approx 95 degree water and left it to cool. Then added the tisane (herbal tea) to a 2 liter pitcher of chilled water. Then I added boiling water for a 2nd steep as some ingredients will keep on giving, especially harder ones like lemongrass, for when I need a refill later.

This got me wondering if it was just in my mind like a placebo, so I called 2 friends who drink Jiaogulan and they swear by it for hangovers- they like to party more than me so I haven't tried that one yet. Maybe its an excuse to break open a bottle of rum I have. 😜 They said it just brings them "up" and make them feel better every time. So I think Jiaogulan might be a hangover cure and possibly an anti depressant or at least a good pick-me-up. I was feeling great the first month I discovered it when I drank it most days.

I will update the blog soon with some recipe videos I haven't edited yet. Then start showing which teas go well with cold water steeping and what ingredients are good to add to them.

The Best Jiaogulan Tea Recipe - Gynostemma Pentaphyllum

Jiaogulan is a medicinal herb grown in Thailand which contains amazing health benefits. If you thought superfoods like turmeric were impressive, prepare to be blown away by what Jiaogulan (Gynostemma Pentaphyllum) can do to help you live a longer, healthier and happier life. This cold tea recipe contains Jiaogulan, Roselle (hibiscus) flowers, chrysanthemum, roasted Bael fruit, butterfly pea flowers and black tea. In my opinion, after a week's trial and error getting the balance just right, this is the best Jiaogulan tea recipe for cold tea. Just let all the flavors infuse in boiling water until cool. Then add to a jug or pitcher or water and fill with plain water. Chill and then enjoy. You can then repeat the steeping of the tea to top up your delicious herbal tea recipe later. Before adding the first water I recommend a quick rinse with boiling water to ensure everything is clean. Visit https://majesticherbs.com/ to learn more about the health benefits of Jiaogulan tea and maybe order some for yourself and your family. The tea has a sweet cherry-like taste, so it may even be one for children to enjoy instead of sugary drinks. I make new tea blends most days so please like, comment, subscribe and share if you would like to see more videos like this with other ingredients to make you healthier. Including more medicinal plants and delicious ingredients each with their own health and longevity benefits.

Is this the Healthiest Iced Tea Recipe in the World?

This is an iced tea recipe, although I often drink it just chilled:

- 1.5 Tablespoons Jiaogulan - 2 Tablespoons Chrysanthemum Flowers - 1 tablespoon Lotus Pollen - small dessert spoon Butterfly Pea Flowers (or approx. 12 flowers) Rinse the above twice with boiling water then fill a french press or jug with boiling water and leave to steep until cold. - 1 dessertspoon Green Tea. Use approx. 78-83 degrees Fahrenheit water (25 degrees Celcius) and steep for one minute or one and a half minutes. Remove tea and leave to cool. Mix the 2 above teas together and add water. I use a 2-liter pail (jug) of water. So approx. 3/4 is just plain water. Let chill in the fridge until cold then enjoy. ----------------------- If you like add a few slices of lemon which gives it a nice citrus twist. I like to do this after drinking some so that it lasts longer as I top it up with more water. Also, repeat the above steeping processes for when you have drunk most of the original tea. This will be much weaker but will keep your jug of healthy tea alive for an extra couple of liters. This delicious sugar-free tea is an attractive azure, turquoise water which reminds me of a paradise island beach, where you see aquamarine water over white sand. It is a perfect drink for summer, to help with a detox, plus a great excuse to ingest some very healthy ingredients. ---------------------- This delicious cold tea recipe is extremely healthy.
